ho is raknen ??;)
rai-kkon-en!
I have no idea, and that's a good thing. Without Schumi, and with subpar drivers in the Renaults, the race is wide open.
i think the real battle will be between the upstarts: Kubica, Kovalainen, and Hamilton
Button, Raikonen, or Alonso
Its Raikkoneon's year!!
You [edited] mavanhaasteren, you didnt put Webber in the list. If your going to put the bloody spykers in there, WHY NOT put Webber, or for that matter, young bloody Rosberg... Youre poll is seriously flawed.
WEBBER FTW!!!!!!!
I don't care as long as the Ferraris and Alonso lose.
It wont be a Toyota, thats for sure.
Raik and Alonso are easily favourites. Whilst Ferrari are expected to have a more dominant car, theres probably a few who think the smarter Alonso could match Kimi in a slower car.
The Honda guys are probably next favourite, with Honda expected to jump ahead but with no solid previous experience of having done so, leaving doubt.
Renault are in a bit of limbo IMO. Nobody expects Fisi and Kovalainen to be fighting straight out of the gates in Melbourne. They'll probably simply survive with the odd race win til 2008, when Piquet might be in the team and Kovalainen should be up to speed. Flav thinks that Alonso couldve won the title in his rookie season had the car been fast enough, but whilst Yuji Ide could win the title if the car was 5 seconds faster than the next, i dont believe Flav. Rookies make mistakes, sometimes costly mistakes. Alonso wasnt exempt from that, and Rosberg wasnt last year either. So surely you have to expect some from Kovalainen this year.
Some dark horses i guess would be the BMW and RBR guys. They'll need alot to go their way, but it could happen. They've got the resources i guess.
I actually think Räikkönen has a real chance of taking it this year.
No surprise I'm going to be supporting him and Kovalainen, but there's a lot of players to keep your eye on this year in my opinion. It has the potential to be one of the most interesting seasons in a good while.

Unfortunately, the same was thought of for last year. It was more diverse than 2005, which in turn was the same over 2004, but it was never more than a 2 horse race once the championship got into it.
