There are new Fiat 1500 / 1800 / 2100 / 2300/ 2300S mechanical sports fuel pumps with pre pumping lever
and ethanolized fuel ( E5 and E10 !) resistant BASF membranes available, new german construction
and high flow with screwed studs (not that chinese pressed fit junk that falls apart causing an engine fire)

They can be ordered with one two or three fuel output studs for cars with one, two or three carbs.
they are good for any Fiat 1300 1500 1800 2100 and 2300 engine with any type of carburetor layout.
1, 2 or 3 carbs.
I have one of those in my 2300S Coupe for only 100 Euros its a very good and helpful item helping cold starting the
engine with the primer lever, especially this lever for pre pumping the fuel was forgotten by Fiat
on the original cheap designed BCD and Fispa pumps...

Attention with the shitty stock or chinese replica el cheapo fuel pumps with pressed fit studs,
those tend to fall apart and than fuel is spraying throughout the whole engine beay causing a fire...

old junk fuel pump and cheap chinese replica, this type of pump is dangerours

This is typical for the cheap replica and old corroded original
Pumps made by Fispa or BCD or China No Name

Here you can see what happens if using old or chinese cheap design low quality low flow
pressed fit pumps on a 1960s Fiat OHV Hemi ( 1300 - 2500 ) engine using modern dry eco pump fuel
that contains alcohol and / or aceton :
http://www.fiat2300.de/13729/73501.html
The (new!) chinese replica fuel pump on this Fiat 2300 just fell apart spraying fuel all over the hot engine,
it was pure luck that the engine only stopped and did not catch fire!
Beware of these pumps.
Never use the old or cheap replica pumps on Fiat 1300 1500 1800 2100 2300 S and 2500SS
they are not safe. Get one of the red safety pumps from the guy of the german Fiat 2300 Coupe register club.

Its much safer using the new HD pumps with screwed fuel pressure studs + BASF Membranes and the added priming /
lever is fine gain of comfort when starting engine cold and fuel lines and float bowls in the DCOE carbs
are dried out.
Further it will save the life of your valuable Marelli E100 starter motor, no more long cranking before a cold start !
Also vapor lock is much reduced with this high flow pump in the hot summers traffic jam.
Best regards

I've always thought this a very attractive car, ever since seeing new ones in London in the '60s. I have recently been browsing cars for sale -- is anyone familiar with the one Luzzago in Brescia has ? Thanks, Dale.
