It may be a hairdressers car by then, a hairdryer on the side of the engine;)
Finally have a intake trumpet, taking it up to the engine dyno guy this weekend to see if they will do the job. They have a slightly larger ID than the rubber intake tubes so the port may have to be die grinded and smoothed for better air flow which = better velocity. They are 70mm long and should give me 120 mm from the bellmouth of the trumpet to the intake butterflies.
Pics of the OE intake and the new one. It will look good with 4 of these under the bonnet:D

Work out whatr it will cost and times it by three:eek: , you still going the original motor or and sr20. The good thing about nissans are they are a lot cheaper than Toyo's to mod and dont have any inherent problems with oil surge and oil drains back to the sump. My 20 valve should be ok on the last point as Toyota modified ther blocks when they went from a 5 rib to 7 rib block.
Are you going to use the stanza or buy a running car ?
Blue you should have bought this the engine management alone and the quads are nearly worth it

Modded the brake pedal yesterday and today and Im quite happy with the result. I had to move the M/C location 60mm over to clear the intake trumpets and filters inside the engine bay. Did it by lengthening the pivot pin and grafting a new pedal in a Y configuration to the original pedal. Need a radox bath to soothe my aching back, I hate working under dashes
Next job is to modify the front strut so I have greater suspension travel when I lower the ride height. We set the ride height today and only had limited travel, will a have to cut and shut 60mm off the tube and fit a longer stroke but shorter overall insert with a longer and softer spring at the moment runs a 380lb, will be going 300lb. Also put the camber top adjusters in properly the previous owner had installed the back to front, now I have plenty of neg camber:)
Staring to finally make some progress.
If you can get Koni's, try and get the new FSD shocks. They are so much better as regular ones, you won't believe it ! And remember, with my connections, no Koni is impossible to create :)
Koni's would also be f***ing expensive though
Got to get some prices tommorrow, a mate runs them on his R100 and hopefully he can get a good price for me. They should make a huge difference as it had would of had zero travel once the suspension was loaded in corners. The Koni FSD are very pricey, its running Monroe GT gas inserts at the moment they have a good action but limited travel. Want to try and get as much done as its going to the painter in 2 weeks time, the panard needs some serious re engineering and looking at changing the angle of the diff with bigger wedges at the leaf spring. Its helps with power down out the corners as the diff tries to twist upwards
Ill still be using the stanza and a larger 1.8L engine mate.
Just need to move the 200 along so i can get back into it properly.

Going Koni Sport adjustable  out of a MR2 AW11 rear shock, just have to cut 50mm off the shock tube and re mig the retaining collar, longer spring by 50mm and its done. Fully adjustable front end for ride height, camber and I will now have 85mm travel at correct ride height and droop. Got the Konis for $496:) for the pair, they should be in tuesday. Was going to go the FSD but told by guys that use them their not great for track use.
Its been a good week installed and redrilled the camber tops so they work correctly, modded the extractors from 16v to 20v bolt pattern, they just need to be faced. Finally finished off the brakes and clutch:D :D with a 6mm aluminium plate on the firewall for strength
It's sounding great mate..
I'll have to check out ebay:D.
Koni Reds are good as well, also KYB AGX are good shocks I wanted them but couldnt get any to fit
