I have asked Internode too provide me with ADSL.. Now it's not the first time i have asked for ADSL but i always get the same answer, But this Email i got from them has slightly confused me..
Make any sence? Are they telling me what can be done or what is being done?
Telstra at the moment are pouring most of their Capex into 3G(Nextgen) at the moment. The amount of wholesale work Telstra is committing to other carriers isnt a priority. Sol the CEO has stated he wont be putting in new infrastructure for other carriers to use until he gets a fairer deal from the government and the ACCC. Things will only get worse once the universal service aggreement is no longer used.
Toyota:
Although there are thousands of them, you mostly can’t spot them in their zeroimage
cars. Toyotas are good, reliable cars and are bought by a wide variety of
people who have zero personality to go with their cars and are basically
chicken-shit scared people who will never take chances and will therefore be
driving Toyotas forever.
The most zero-image car in the world?, ... a white Corolla
Sad but true, Im more JDM than Aust delivered hopefully:) , not all white corollas are zero image cars;)

So, apparently I'm a loyal, diligent worker, but baffled by office politics and labour policies. And if I trade the Falcon in for a Mazda3 or Mazda6 I'll be even more staid and boring with no imagination and I'll also be retired and poorer. Great.
At least these guys don't think I'm am an uneducated bogan for driving a Ford, unlike some stereotypes.
Ah, that's right, I'm not meant to take this seriously, I'm meant to laugh. In that case, ROTFL:D
"Nissan:
Good, solid, responsible, loyal office-fodder. You like to travel and maintain that
you can sell ice to the Eskimos. Favourite answer: "It's a company car.""
ROFL

They wouldn't even do it for me also when i applied for ADSL with them.
I was at first thinking of going to Telstra's Wireless because i thought they were the only one's that had it in my area, I was shocked to find more out there have wireless. But no way in hell i'm paying $70+ for there speeds and 1 gig:eek: I'll do 1gig on UCP lol:D.
I would like to know what telstra thinks is a fair go too be honest, They had had the market in there globe for so long they got the money and they are tight, Now i'm thinking when my mate in the first unit moves out and leaves behind his Telstra cable connection, If we don't move in to there unit which i really don't wont to, Can Telstra give me his connection in unit 4?. His tap is the blocks tap, And it's easy moved down the telstra pits that are at the side of the drive to my unit, But i know they wont do it, They want the big $$$$ not another customer, And they don't understand that if i move i'll never use Telstra for anything, I'll find a place with atleast ADSL 1 upto 8mb, Or ADSL2 and then i'll get VOIP. Or I was thinking IBurst but they don't really do VOIP but it's used on there network, That be a great way to never pay telstra again:p.
Just for the record, What they say about the Volvo is so very true. Which is really sad actually!
ok how the heck do you post a thread?
Go back to the main "australian section" or whatever section screen and in the top left of the pager there is a "start new thread" button.
thanks
alo alo alo guys, the meetup at the A1GP was brilliant, albeit very short, as sam and i had many things to do. which ended up getting dragged out and we stayed till the end of the aussie GT races.
