I'm somewhat certain that RSR actually does mean Rennsport Rennen/Racing. Redundant, yes, but probably meant more as RS Rennen/RAcing. Just like RST is RS Touren/Touring.

Wait, why has displacement gone up, but torque is the same and power went down? I could see dropping the power but getting more torque or at a lower RPM, but this doesn't really make sense. Regulation changes?
