For online accomodation anywhwere Wotif.com: is a handy site to know despite limited selection. It only lists vacancies for 28 days ahead

EDIT: Found this total list of acommodation http://www.bathurstmotorfestival.com...om_options.pdf may be useful in future
Your a legend Nota have saved the PDF doco, cheers mate, pity you cant make it

We started on the nephews cars yesterday, Robs car has a suspected broken gearbox or selector turned out to be a spigot bearing has come out of the flywheel, have never seen that before. The clutch needs repuking we get that done by a mate at extreme clutch for 80 bucks, flywheel is A1 but the pressure plate will get a light skim. The cars will be pulling taller gears plus more fuel so we dont want to do a Skaifey.

We have to change the W57 Supra box for a W58 on both cars as they run a more overdriven 5th. Dont know if we will have the HP to run to 270, we very much doubt it but at least with the ratios it the engine wont be banging against the rev limiter.

Clints diff is getting done the welded diff has shit itself and one of the spiders have let go and done a bit of damage. We have a E series Van Mazda diff, its the same diff as a RX3 just have to machine, the size of the carrier to accomodate the larger axle.

The boys are fired up Nota but a little intimidated about the track. They have been speaking to a few of the historic guys that run there with V8 mustangs etc and they reckon the crest is very SCARY down conrod with no real aero and road tyres.

will keep you updated mate.

Cheers
John
