    Good luck Spaz.
Here in Cali, i think it differs from state to state, you get your learners permit @ 15.5 after passing a test. you can only drive with somone older than 25 who's had a liscence for a while(forget how long)
Then you take your liscence test @ 16 and you can drive by yourslef but cant take any one under 25 , except siblings. no drivin 11pm-5am
after youv'e had the liscence for a year, or you turn 18, all the restrictions fall off.
I've got about 2 more months of restricted liscencehood, if anyone cares.

So far I think the way it works here is better.

You can get your "permis temporaire" at 16, which allows you to drive with anyone who has had a full license for more than two years. Then, 8 or 12 months later (depending whether you took driving lessons or not) you can get your "permis probatoire", which is exactly like your full license except it's zero tolerance for alcohol and you have less points (4 instead of 12). You get your full license two years after you obtain the probatory one.

You can drive whenever you want, with whoever you want, and whatever car you want.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck that! I'm $325 per year in the celica, compared to 735 in the silvia. One of the main reasons I bought the celica.

that's pretty much the same as here, only minus the gay french names, obviously
both 'Learner's' and 'Provisional' license as you mentioned above have four points with aforementioned restrictions, since anyone below the age of 21 has an even chance of being a complete ass hat (refer to whiteballz for further examples)

Ignore anything clutch says about my driving.

Spinning ass end through a fence and driving away covered in mud to a club is SO the normal thing. shuddup.

    Same with catching fire.

    and understeering.

    just shutup.

you left out cracking your front bar into pieces from hitting rabbits.

and hitting a pothole at WOT and thus skipping a metre to the right into oncoming traffic

edit: and driving responsibly on the putty rd
