I really couldn't choose between Porsche and Audi.

Porsche make some of the greatest engines in the world.

Toyota, their F1 cars are built in Colon. (Germany). I noticed that the poll excludes Ford Germany, is that for a special reason? And by the way, Alpina also counts as a separate manufacturer.

Sure, that explains why Wiesmann is in the poll.
Ford is producing more cars than Porsche.

Alpina was founded by Burkhard Bovensiepen in the early sixties, and is based in Kaufbeuren, Southern Bavaria.

In Germany Alpina is officially considered to be an independent car maker, there is no BMW badge on the car. Brabus has a similar status.
Of course they both use "another" marque as the basis of their products.
