Rumours are passing around that Ferrari, long the maker of N/A engines, is developing a one off supercharger for ten of it's lucky FXX owners.

The special part of this supercharger is that the air being forced into the engine is regulated. Their is supposed to be three main streams of air, all can be controlled by the racer himself. At the press of a button, the racer can control the boost of air into the engine, whenever he pleases. Although this is already a common occurence on turbocharged cars, this would be the first of it's kind on a supercharger.

To be quite frank, this is only a rumour I've heard, and I don't know much about superchargers, so I can't say that I quite know what my contact is talking about, but in any case, I just want to know what you think, and how this will affect both performance, and Ferrari's legendary history of extracting large amoutns of power out of naturally aspirated engines.
