    SLR Masters i need help

    i saw a photo serie in UCP long time ago
    in that photos a mercedes (i cant remember the model but im sure not a SL)turns to SLR with handmade bodykit in a simple garage
    Is there anyone who knows that pictures
    i searched but i couldn't find
    please help

    this one was built in poland by mr furtak, i was even sitting in that car. i also talked to him, he converted from SEL and it was built THREE YEARS before the presentation of the production version. what's the most interesting thing, he built it only from 1:18 bburago die cast model!
    he can make one too for about 25000 euros and the cost of old mercedes SEL
    12 cylinders or walk!

    hahaha....he took measurements from a diecast model...that explains the poor fitting panels.

    that's because the real SLR didn't even existed then...

    SLR on a buget. It seriously doesn't look that bad except for the gaps between the body panels.

    yhea but if you looko at the 1/18th models they have the gaps in the body panels too. especally bburago. every one of thier models that i own (two) always find away to fall apart and have large gaps so on
