True. Probably the greatest hot hatch ever made (frenchies are good at this sort of thing).
Makes you wonder what the hell went wrong with the 206 and 207.

safety requirements and modern technology which made them such a good small average/family car :).
Drove an old 205 1.1 today in slippery snow/ice condition, and it is truly on of the best driving experience i have ever had, just because of it's raw feeling of the car.
That is something that we will NEVER see again, unfortunately.
There is a nice and clean example of a 205 GTI in my street. White with the original alloys and no modifications. As it should be.
You hardly see a decent and original example nowadays.
And the ones that are decent go for high prices. I've seen as high as 6 grand.

I hope to own one, one day, unfortunately when i can afford the insurance and the car itself, it will be even more expensive as it will be a true collectors car.
